Privacy Policy
This tool shows public records for a single date: Seoul weather, the lunar date and the National Assembly session list. There are no accounts, and nothing at all that identifies you is collected. A date page is the same public calendar page for everyone, and the server does not read who opened which date.
The date you pick
The value in the date box only becomes a page address on your device. A birth date is not stored, not sent to a server, and not kept in this browser. The card you save as an image is drawn on your device and does not pass through our server.
The date in a page address
A page address contains the date itself (for example /1998-03-03). Anyone who knows the address can open it, so when you share an address in a message, the recipient can see that date. The server does not link any opened address to a person.
What we never send
- The date you pick and any birth date, in any form.
- IP addresses and device information (User-Agent) are not read, and no cookies are used.
- No notifications are sent, and permission for them is never requested.
- Connections leaving this site are blocked at the browser level. The newspaper and Gwiraedang links only take you there when you click them.
This site is served through Cloudflare, which automatically injects a visit-tracking script into our pages. We did not add it, so we have configured your browser to refuse it. That means the tracking call does not go out. The tag itself is still injected by that layer though, so we would rather you know about it than not. We do not use cookies.
Anonymous signals the server receives
- Step names (page opened, a date was picked and a page opened, the card was saved as an image, the text and link were copied, the Gwiraedang link was clicked, first touch on the page), the interface language, the channel label we wrote into our own link or the domain of the previous page (never the path or query), and the date you arrived (day only, no clock time).
- The date you picked is not included. Only the fact that you moved on is counted.
- If something breaks on screen, that fact reaches the same place: we send only the error name (TypeError, for example) and an eight-character fingerprint of where it happened. We never send the error message, the stack, or the address. At most three per visit.
- These signals live in short-term server logs only and are never shared with third parties. We may show Google AdSense ads to cover running costs; Google may then use cookies or ad identifiers under its own policy.
Sources
Seoul weather is from the Korea Meteorological Administration's ASOS data, and the Assembly list is from Open National Assembly Information. Both are used under KOGL Type 1 (attribution).
How to delete
We keep nothing of yours, so there is nothing to delete. There is no record on the server to delete.
